Trap is probably the most popular genre of our time. It originated in the late 90s and was initially based on drum sounds taken from the Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer. During the last 2 decades trap and hip hop have however evolved and the common sound selection differs a lot compared to the past.

The Chaos drum kit is filled with a total of 150 drum one-shots, including kicks, snares, claps, random percs, closed hats, open hats, rides, and crash cymbals. On top of this, it comes with 20 key-labeled 808 bass samples and 30 mix-ready drum loops, which are divided into cymbal, full, kick, percussion, and top loops. Some of the sounds are actually still based on the Roland TR-808, but have been processed quite a lot to fit the style of modern productions.

Short term temporal variations in bedload transport rates were investigated in two different environments during flood flows, one at Squaw Creek, Montana, a temperate mountain stream with coarse-grained sediment, the other at Nahal Yatir and Nahal Eshtemoa, Israel, both ephemeral channels subject to a semi-arid climate and also with a coarse gravel-bed. The results of the Squaw Creek electro-magnetic bedload measuring station were compared to the Birkbeck type slots in Israel. Bedload transport rates for both measuring stations are comparable since they both take high resolution measurements at minute intervals across the entire channel width. Whereas the Squaw Creek measuring station has the advantage of continuously measuring single particle transport as induced by the transfer of naturally magnetic particles over two detector sills, the Nahal Yatir and Eshtemoa measure bedload on the basis of trap filling rates. The temporal nature of sediment transport in both environments is similiar, as indicated by repeated pulsing. Short term bedload fluctuations are independant of the discharge magnitude but dependant on its duration or change in magnitude.
