when the sun goes down, the mystic glow of the emerald jungle surrounds the players, giving them a boost of extra energy. teams can't spend energy during this phase, however. bunk, bam, nelson and claude won't have any spare energy for this game, so their chances of winning are basically nil.
he tells blaze and starla to come over and fill the fourth spot, and the team makes room for darington. as they play, aj tells him about his life, what he has done since arriving on animal island, and why he's doing this. in return, blaze tells him his own story, including how he was adopted, how he became a villain, and how he fell in love with starla. starla is impressed that he fell in love with her, and the two confess their feelings for each other. as they talk, aj notes that he's about to play a game, and they should go back to the dorm.
the two go to the dorm and head back to the game. during the game, blaze has a chance to get a power egg, which increases his strength by one level. the egg is on the third floor of the dorm, so he has to climb the stairs. while he's doing that, aj and starla head to a special room, where they talk more.
